Shipping Information for Outback Fibers

  • We are focused on offering high quality products at reasonable prices.  Therefore, we don't offer "free shipping" as this would force us to charge more for our products.  We commit to keeping our shipping costs reasonable. 
  • We are located in Coaldale, Colorado (south central part of Colorado)  
  • Most of our products are in stock.  
  • We generally ship within 24 to 48 hours of receiving your order.  

United States

Free Shipping

Qualifying orders over $80 are eligible for free shipping as a benefit to our customers in the contiguous lower 48 states only. Orders sent to Hawaii and Alaska are not eligible for free shipping.

  • Packages are normally shipped either by USPS, UPS, or FedEx Ground. 
  • A Tracking Number will be sent to you via email after your package is shipped.

The Free Shipping option is available at check out for orders $80 and above.  You must select it.  Outback Fibers will choose which type of shipping to use for the Free Shipping option.  Other options are available as shown below.

 

Other Shipping Options

  • USPS--Most packages are sent via First Class, Parcel Select, or Priority Mail to customers in the US.  
    • First Class Mail can be chosen if the shopping cart calculates less than a pound in the order
      • Tracking on all packages
      • Insurance is available online at checkout through Route.  It is preselected. You can deselect this option.  This means that if the package is lost, you will bear the cost for the lost products. 
      • Typical delivery is approximately 5 business days (depending on your location), but the USPS makes no promises on their delivery time.
    • Priority Mail can be chosen
      • Tracking on all packages
      • The USPS has insurance covered for $70 in Priority Mail.  This means that if the package is lost, you will bear the cost for the lost products over $70. 
      • Typical delivery is approximately 2 to 4 business days (depending on your location), but the USPS makes no promises on their delivery time.
      • Express delivery is not available from our location.
  • FedEx Ground and UPS in the US--Packages may be sent via FedEx Ground or UPS. 
    • Tracking on all packages
    • We have been in business since 1996 and have never had a package lost by FedEx.
    • Overnight delivery is not available from our location without extra notice and cost.

International

  • You are responsible for all taxes, fees, duties, etc. 
  • Most International Orders are sent via USPS
  • Canadian Shipping
    • First Class mail with tracking information is the most cost effective means of shipping to Canada for packages less than 4 pounds. Delivery is generally up to 15 days but can be quicker.
    • Priority Mail is available.  Delivery is generally up to 10 days
    • Larger orders can be shipped via FedEx Ground.  This requires import broker fees charged by FedEx. This option is expensive for small orders because of the broker fees.

Packaging

  • We try to keep the shipping costs as low as we can.  Therefore some of the boxes we use are recycled from other companies.  They may not be pretty, but they help keep our costs down and save you money.  Recycled boxes will be clean, but may have other company printing on them.
