Superfine Merino Wool Roving--18.5 micron

Due to our sourcing initiatives, we have achieved a major improvement in our product line, moving from a fine, 22-micron merino to a Superfine, 18.5-micron merino.  The few shades of remaining 22-micron stock are designated with an * and will be sold until those stocks are depleted.

Our commitment to our customers pushed us to source our wool directly through a broker such that we are able to offer this beautiful, quality wool without increasing the price.

Combination packs such as our Mixed Bags, Felt Kit and our Color Palette may still contain a mix of both micron counts for some months as we work through the remaining stocks of fine merino.  While your hands may notice the extra softness of the superfine, you will find the same excellent performance from both in your felt work.

Try our superb Merino wool roving for all your wet felting, nuno felting, and spinning projects.  Merino wool is the easiest fiber to felt and yields outstanding results. We stock 100% merino wool fiber plus additional wool blends. Buy each color individually or get great samplings by purchasing from our Mixed Bags or Color Palette.

Extreme Blankets and Crocheting with Roving-- Since we buy our all our wool colors in bulk, we usually can provide single lengths of roving for your projects.  Call or email to discuss your needs..

*Please note that due to variations in monitors and graphics, the colors shown below may not be an exact match to the fiber. Order your own sample cards for accurate color identification.  (See card information below) Call us with questions: (800) 276-5015.
